This urban park and neighborhood called City Park is located in east-central Denver. City Park is Denver’s largest municipal park, composed of 330 acres with lots of grassy fields, perfect for any outdoor activity. Ferril and Duck lakes will let you enjoy paddleboats and plenty more water recreation.
The park is home to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Denver Zoo It also offers a diverse collection of historic homes, multi-unit condos, and bungalows. Walk around the tree-lined park, and head over to E17th Avenue to access coffee shops, fine dining, boutiques, pubs (hello Vine St Pub and Brewery:), and many more.
Along Colorado Blvd, there are plenty of bus routes and bike lanes. Even though it may be a bit challenging to find parking areas as you get near St. Joe’s medical campus, City Park west and City Park itself provide parking spaces, so you’ll definitely like this residential area.
