Apartments are well kept and it is home to a wide range of different ages. Washington Park has two formal flower gardens and two lakes with seemingly endless green space. This may be why this neighborhood always sits near the top when ranking residential areas in town and it is frequently chosen as a favorite park in Denver. Enjoy a daily walk with your dog, bike rides, jogging, boating, fishing, and much more.
Visit Old South Gaylord, which is home to cocktail and wine bars, high-end fashion boutiques, and some of Denver’s finest restaurants and galleries. There are plenty of events to highlight in this neighborhood. Some include: South Gaylord Street days block party, annual festivals, street farmers market where you can meet friendly locals. They say if you want to show Denver off bring them to the Washington Park neighborhood.
