Red Rocks Amphitheater

Red Rocks is one of the best places and popular places to visit near Denver. Red Rocks is a city park and an outdoor amphitheater; a great place to see live performances, bike, and hike. Did you know that red rock tops the list for the best concert venue in the U.S.? The place has seen its share of concerts since the 1900s. Its stage is set between two huge sandstone rock formations.

The place is not only attractive but also a natural amphitheater that offers excellent acoustics. As mentioned, many great acts regularly come to this legendary venue. Furthermore, they often host yoga classes and movie nights. This means that theater is always something cool happening at Red Rocks.

The pack is also home to attractive and yet enjoyable hiking and biking trails. For this reason, if your goal is to do some exercise beside breathtaking mountain views, then this is the place for you. While here, you can check the Colorado Music Hall of fame as well.

Located in the small town of Morrison, which is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Denver, Red Rocks is open to the public one hour before sunrise, and it is closed one hour before sunset (on non-event days).

However, when there is a show, the park closes at about 2 pm. The best thing is that both packing and admission are free.

You will never go wrong visiting the city, that is because there is a lot more to see than you can imagine. Furthermore, these attractions are best for families. In other words, if you are planning a family vacation, Denver offers family-friendly attractions. It gives everyone an opportunity to have a great time and enjoy themselves. You will get access to thriving music scenes and countless options for outdoor adventures.
